Mandy Jo Moldehnke, LPCS, LMHCS, RPTS

Hello, and welcome to The Child’s Perspective! My name is Mandy Jo and I am a licensed and registered play therapist. I have 15 years of experience working with children experiencing adjustment, anxiety, OCD, grief and loss, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, medical complexity, and the general stressors that come with childhood.

I value seeing the world through the child’s lens… the child’s perspective. As a Child-Centered Registered Play Therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and accepting environment where children can express themselves through play. I believe that play is a child's natural language and provides opportunities for emotional growth, self-discovery, and healing. Using a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach, I help children build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate life's challenges. My goal is to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers each child to reach their full potential. Through the therapeutic power of play, a child’s growth and healing is limitless.
